Rose Campion - Gardener's World

The Lychnis Gardener's World, 'Lychniscoronaria', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is an upright perennial with woolly silver foliage. The magenta-red double blooms resemble small carnations. ‘Gardener’s World’ is a definite improvement from other Lychnis. The flower is larger, sterile and more refined. ‘Gardner’s World’ has a plant height of 24-36” and 10” spread. The beautiful blooms last from from June to August. ‘Gardener’s World’ should be planted in full sun to light shade, but does require moisture and free-draining soil. Mullein - Bananna Custard The Verbascum Banana Custard, 'Verbascum hybridum', also known as Mullein, has huge, two-toned flowers that are useful in any perennial garden. The flowers are bright and light yellow, making it different from the rest. The foliage is light green, which adds contrast to the flower color. ‘Banana Custard’ has a plant height of 2-4’ and a plant spread of 1-2’ and blooms from late spring into summer. Removing spent flowers to encourage additional bloom time. This low maintenance perennial requires dry to medium soil and should be planted in full sun for best results. ‘Banana Custard’ can be planted in rocky slopes to add color, as a border plant or in cottage gardens.
