Phlox - Junior Dream

The Phlox Junior Dream, Phlox paniculata 'Junior Dream' (PPAF), has fragrant purple flowers with a darker colored eye on short stems. It is one the Phlox Junior series that contain mildew resistant plants. Blooming all summer long, it has a plant height of 18-22”. As a definite addition to any perennial garden, it attracts butterflies and provides a mainstay of summer color. Junior Dream® needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Hollyhock - Chater's Red The Chater's Red Hollyhock, 'Alcea rosea', has a large ruffled ball-shaped red flower. The Hollyhock family is made up of a rather large group that exhibits tall stature (4-6') and is biennial in nature. Although they are short lived, they reseed themselves. The large blooms of 'Chater's Mix Hollyhock' flower in the summer months. Alcea is a wonderful plant near the back of the border, working great along walls or fences. They are best planted in full sun in a well-drained area.
