Nemesia - Carnival Mix

The Nemesia Carnival Mix, 'Nemesia strumosa Nana Compacta', has very brilliantly colored flowers on a dwarf plant. Cute as a button, this wonderful cool season annual has snapdragon-like flowers. They come in shades of cream, yellow, blue, orange, crimson, pink, and bicolors. The 3/4 inch funnel-shaped flowers with a pouch at the base are borne on 3 to 4 inch spikes. The Carnival Mix blooms in the spring through early summer. The Nemesia prefers full sun or afternoon shade in hot summer climates. They do best in rich garden soil that is high in organic matter. Keep the soil moist but not soggy. In warm climates, plant in spring or fall. In short season climates plant after last average frost date. Carnival Mixes are excellent for cut flowers, containers, hanging baskets, edging, and borders. ... details

Sweet Pea - Perfume Delight The Sweet Pea Perfume Delight, 'Lathyrus odoratus', is a mixture of several colors of very fragrant sweet peas. The flowers are slightly smaller, 3/4 to 1 inch flowers, than other annual sweet peas, but they are more heat resistant. They will bloom about 1 week longer than other sweet peas. The sweet pea prefers deep, rich, fertile soil. Use lots of peat or compost for early spring planting. Plant this sweet pea in full sun, but in a cool a spot as possible. They are used for cut flowers and for covering fences and walls if given the proper support.
