The Hosta ‘Francis Williams’, Hosta sieboldiana, is a large Hosta with wide yellow margins that surround blue-green centers, making it very striking. The white flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 24” and a spread of 48-60”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Francis Williams’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Hosta ‘Frances Williams’ is perhaps the most widely grown of the big Hostas.
