Hollyhock - Chater's Red

The Chater's Red Hollyhock, 'Alcea rosea', has a large ruffled ball-shaped red flower. The Hollyhock family is made up of a rather large group that exhibits tall stature (4-6') and is biennial in nature. Although they are short lived, they reseed themselves.
