The Bachelor Button Dwarf Blend, 'Centaurea cyanus', is a blend of purple, light blue, pink, and white flowers that will impress you. The flowers can be used as dried or cut flowers. Bachelor Button will naturalize as the seeds the plant drops will quite readily come back the next year to produce another crop of beautiful flowers. Carrot seed germinates in soils as cold as 45 degrees, but performs best in warm soils. The first sowing should be 2 to 4 weeks before the last frost.
