Aster - Woods Purple
The Aster ‘Woods Purple’, Aster x dumosus, is a purple daisy-like flower blooming August through September. With its perfectly clean, compact, dark green, disease resistant and rust free foliage, this plant has a height: 12” and a plant spread of 24”. ‘Woods Purple’ has emerged in the past few years with superb flowers and longer bloom times. Aster ‘Woods Purple’ does require full sun, but can take some afternoon shade, in a moderate soil range with good drainage that does not become extremely dry during the summer. Grass - Oriental Ftn Tall Tales The Grass 'Oriental Fountain Grass Tall Tales', Pennisetum orientale ‘Tall Tales’, is upright and arching. Wonderful in the border plantings or in planters, this beautiful and elegant Pennisetum is prized for its showy pink flowers. One of the longest blooming and best clumping grasses. The nodding, 12" long flower spikes are an attractive purplish-pink color and are excellent as cut flowers. Does not generally set seed.
