Lantana - Patriot Hot Country Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. The Hot Country Lantana has attractive foliage and the foliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. All Lantana's contain a toxin that if ingested may cause stomach discomfort. The Lantana is also commonly called a Shrub Verbena.
